For one of our client, we are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining their cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions. You will be part of the team that is responsible for all cloud infrastructure across the group.

Responsibilities:
o Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
o Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient integration of applications with Azure cloud services.
o Implement and configure Azure services such as AKS, storage accounts, virtual networks, Azure Databricks, App service plans, …
o Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
o Implement best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance.
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging Azure technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
o 4 years or more of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
o Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
o Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Databricks and other Azure PaaS services
o Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI.
o Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
o Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
o Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
o Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer).
o Fluent in English and Dutch/French
