TEAM PARTNERS, the Swiss subsidiary of the Blue Soft group, has been providing IT services since 1998, serving a Swiss clientele of SMEs and large private and public companies.
We're looking for a developer with experience of Oracle technologies (PL/SQL; Forms, ...).
You will be working as a consultant for our Geneva-based customer.
Our client is a major player in energy and commodities trading (electricity, gas, coal, crude oil, LPG or carbon emission certificates).
Intervening across the entire energy supply chain, it also works to facilitate the energy transition to low-carbon fuels worldwide. For a number of years now, we have been supporting the company in the development of its own "tailor-made" internal CRM. This tool covers all aspects of commercial activities worldwide: order entry, generation of P&L reports, risk and delivery management, invoicing. Our customer stands out in the world of energy trading by making its tool the heart of its business processes.
Missions
As a member of the developer team, based in Geneva, you will be responsible for :
- Build a new central platform, unifying all applications and integrating them with a common set of entities.
- Analyze user needs and help harmonize systems.
- Actively contribute to the development of the main system by developing new functionalities based on user needs.
- Work closely with a wide variety of users to identify and prioritize requirements and design technical solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing modules.
The main technologies used are PL/SQL and Oracle Forms Builder. Perfect mastery of these tools is essential.
However, many newer technologies are currently being tested, and you'll be able to take part in these important technological migrations.
To be comfortable joining the team, knowledge of the trading world is not essential, but a good grasp of mathematics is a plus.
Your skills
However, you must have :
- An advanced degree in computer science or financial engineering with proven experience in IT development.
- Proven data modeling skills to translate business situations into data structures,
- At least 5 years' experience as a software engineer.
- Good team spirit with strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to work independently.
- A proactive, user-centered, problem-solving mindset, with a genuine interest in both the functional and technical aspects of each challenge,
- Comfortable with the continuous release model.
- Good communication skills in French and English.
The position is available immediately in Geneva, with the possibility of teleworking one day a week.
